I bought this mask for my husband who works nights. It turns out that it is a great mask for my daughter. It is way too small for my husband.

Great for the price. Lightweight and smooth. One drawback: string broke easily.

Does not feel "silky" at all. Feels like it is made out of the same material as a windbreaker.

So soft and lightweight you can't even feel it's on while you sleep. The only drawback is that the band stretches out after a while so the mask slips on your face, but they're affordable enough that I get a few in different colors and switch them out when one gets worn!

This is very helpful when I want to lay down during the day. It keeps the sunlight out so I can get a good nap in.

For a low cost eye mask that WORKS, this is the best choice. My husband works nights and was having trouble sleeping in the days. This mask blocked out all the light, so he could sleep! Now he's not a grouchy bear anymore!

I did give the Sleep Mask to my best friend Lynette because her mom has dementia and she keeps her up at all hours of the night and day. She is just about exhausted. I sure do wish her 2 brothers would come more often and give her a break. I am not much good to her with my strange sleeping hours either. Plus, I don't know if she would mind me because she forgets who I am. Finally, Lynette got some relief and for about a week she had some time to herself and she used the Sleep Mask and the earplugs. She said she was gonna sleep as much as possible and that she did not care what time it was. When she got sleepy she was just gonna go for it. I told her she better. She was so exhausted we don't know if the mask worked the first 2 days but after that when she needed to lay down in the afternoon for a nap, she said then she could tell that it helped ease her into a good deep sleep. So, for that, I am very grateful that I could help her get some extra sleep. They recommend that you hand wash the masks and just let them dry flat on their own. It looked like it might be a material that might shrink up so I wasn't going to put in the washer and dryer anyway. Since it helped Lynette, I just told her to keep it. She really needs it more than I do anyway.

This is a good basic mask and excellent value for the price. It has two straps and you can position them to avoid your ears. Excellent value for the price.
